Celebrity Gossip

All pictures from Vitamin's FB page.
The launch of Vitamin Water was by far one of the most attended by celebrities. Every corner i turn, every person i bump into is one good looking person or a famed other.

I'm not much of a tattletale, but if you haven't had a chance for invites or rubbed shoulders, let me share with you some of the juiciest gossips I know.

Afterall, everyone loves reading.

Disclaimer: The gossip you read here DO NOT represent the celebrities recognised from these pictures. The gossips are meant to stay annoymous and non-malicious.

gos·sip (g s p). n. 1. Rumor or talk of a personal, sensational, or intimate nature.
Believe.it.or.not.
A certain Ang Moh host's gorgeous wife gave birth a year ago and they're both contemplating breast implants (for the woman of course) for the better of their married sex life. Breast feeding apparantly sucked her breasts dry.
As a little girl, Triple Nine's female lead was an actress i looked up too. She's a MILF now, something i envision to be. In person, she is as cool as her on-screen persona. Her husband, walks around like as if he's a sex god. Got to admit, he does have the body of one though.

Another Ah-Ge of Caldecott, dark as a horse. I met him in his late thirties , also walks as if all women worship the ground he walks. He got married recently, i guess he finally grew up.

I was 18, the legendary actor who cheated on his older wife was a flirtateous charming man. He asked for my number, saying he'll get me a possible stint in an advertising firm.

When i was 8, i was a calefare in a Ch8 drama. An actress (who is very pretty then, but put on quite a bit of weight now. Never did get into the A list even though been in the industry very long) was very fond of me, and held my hand like i was her daughter. She went to the director and 撒娇 (pout), asking him to buy an ice-cream for us me. She was probably trying to

A) show him her maternal instinct by demonstrating with me (as if i am her baby) or
B) turn him on by licking an ice-cream

They were both stingy. I never got my ice-cream.
A host ( let's call her SeaShell) wasn't famous then (but now famous because of a certain role), but acted like a total DIVA. She cringed when i offered chocolate cake. She asked snottily if i was trying to make her fat. She later instructed her male co-hosts to not touch the durian puffs, just in case their breath stinks.

She was a wet blanket on stage.
2 of the 7 Princesses have their eye-lids cut, complete with a boob job done. Then again, maybe all of them did but these two were guaranteed with a stamp.
I still have a few more up my sleeve, but i'm kinda tired gossiping.

I am never really a gossip girl. ;p

But i guess being a celebrity disqualifies you from being spotted by Urban.

Ahoy Ahoy!

I've never been on a cruise. I get sea sick. I am claustrophobic. AND I get bored easily.
but still, I WON A 4D3N Asia cruise on Royal Caribbean! Like any true blue Singaporean, of coz i'll say....Let's GO!!

An old lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship holding her hat on tight so that it would not blow off in the wind. A gentleman approached her and said: "Pardon me, madam. I do not intend to be forward, but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?" "Yes, I know," said the lady, "I need both hands to hold onto this hat." "But, madam, you must know that your privates are exposed!" said the gentleman in earnest. The woman looked down, then back up at the man and replied, "Sir, anything you see down there is 85 years old. I just bought this hat yesterday!"

My Skin Bible

Advertorial

It’s been an uphill battle for me ever since those zits entered my life. I never really knew how to appease them! Just been through a emotional roller coaster, all that stress is making me break out!

A far cry from my teenage years, my current skin is clear but once a zit shows up at my door step, its friends will come to party too. When that happens, I can’t continue my regular regime because my regular regime is too oily for my skin! I dig from my mum’s pots, remember?

And it’s so difficult to get the potion right! Zit appears, zap it with pimple cream= skin becomes dry = skin produces more oil to counter=more oil, more pimples. It’s a vicious cycle.

So Bella Skincare introduced to me the Sebo Defense Emulsion. It is specially formulated to suit oily and problem skin. It keeps oily and problem skin under control while respecting the hydro lipidic balance by purifying and regulating facial secretions. That’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about; it can break the vicious cycle!

I have religiously applied a thin layer day and night for the past 2 weeks. I usually wake up with an oily face the next morning, thus before I didn’t dare put any night time skincare (afraid of an over-reaction). With the Sebo Defense Emulsion, it not only gives me the nutrients need for skin repair while I sleep, it also controls the oil production. No oily face greeting the person I wake up beside (IF I am sleeping with one)!

With a clean face, I slap the cream on as a base before anything else. It really does work! It controls the oil production of my face and the pimples have ceased partying (stopped appearing, but slowly becoming smaller). I have heard that using oil blotters are not good, because it dries out your skin= produces more oil to make up for the lack of.

Got to admit, I had to resist wiping the cream off my face with a tissue because I didn’t like the feeling of something “oily” on my face! Just had to control those itchy hands for 15 seconds though, because very soon the skin absorbs the emulsion quickly and my face had a matte texture. Nice!

Don’t expect miracles overnight though. Patience, diligence and manage expectations. I've been using this trial product for 3 weeks now, and i'm starting to dread when it runs out! It really controls the eruption of new blemishes and also abates existing ones.

Don’t forget to also keep these tips for clear skin; I present to you my Skin Bible!

Camera Ready, with a Brow that's Always There..

Advertorial

So, i was wrong about The Brow Job being chemical, it is actually made with 100% natural vegetable dye. So here, i am. Back again for a tune up. After all, having spent $1200 (UOB Ladies card holders get it now for $600 ONLY!) with the first job, would be a waste not to go for the tune up (FOC) which expires 6 months after your first job. Getting the tune up will ensure that the previous job stays defined, shaped and arch.

And because, it isn't exactly a cheap job, i'm here to share my experience so you'll know better :)
Being a creative myself, i am absolutely a FAN of concepts at Browhaus and its sister chain (Strip, Beauty Emporium).

Different hair-do for your eyes = Browhaus. Geddit, geddit?
The outlet at Wheelock (level 5) reminds me of some medical outfield station. It's all rather kinky, next best thing when we don't live in Japan-land of themes. Strip is alot more fun to visit though. Browhaus still abit sparse with the deco lah.
So, they tell you a little bedtime story before you're put to sleep.

I was a bad student. I didn't pay attention because i was busy checking out the handsome manager, figuring out if he is married (cue: ring on finger). He said "wearing a ring, doesn't make you married." Cue "my eyebrows raised."
Then you lay down in a comfy reclining chair, a furry blanket over you.
Provided with an MP3 player that plays spa-like tunes, you get your personal earphones to use.
So, this is my face with make-up, but without brows drawn (must remember i already had one job done).
Will you still love me if i looked like that?
They drew on to illustrate the shape we're gunning for. After agreeing and some tweaks, we're on the roll. I then drift off to sleep, the process was absolutely painless. You hear some sounds, but it's not as traumatising as wisdom tooth extraction.
And i wake up to this!
Completing the concept of being camera ready with brow resurrection, Browhaus packaged their aftercare products in this very creative camera packaging.
In it are 2 pots that repair and regenerate skin cells (after all, the process is by using a needle to cut the surface of your skin to seep the dye in), and also to moisturize and heal. It sounds like the process is very bad for your brows because of the aftercare products you need, but upon observation, i really don't see any scarring or peeling on mine. These are to be bought seperately though ($150).

 This is without make-up.
And this is with make-up. The brows will start lightening over time, it's just the first week where it's darker than usual, i'm assured.

Do you want to get camera ready?

Surf's Up.

It's the surfing season now in Cherating, Malaysia. So here we go, loading the boards onto that mini car. Getting there takes 5 hours, just like going to KL If we drove fast enough, our car would fly! The surf boards were like wings on the car.
Joining an entourage of 4 other cars, it was an adventure.

My beach essentials:
Redken hair protective spray- smells kinda funky, got it free.
Not sure if it's really effective. Couldn't tell a difference.

Sunblock- apply loads and loads and loads. You HAVE to slap on enough on your face and reapply countless times. I got lazy, ended up with a sunburnt on the face and then peeling= not a pretty sight :(

This little Ang Moh is SO sweet.

He strangles carries the kitty like a rag doll and took it home. When you become a parents, will you allow your child to play with strays or not? His parents were very relaxed about it, and even taught him the proper way to carry the kitty. Are Singaporeans too uptight or are we hygienic? Or is it because we're too hygienic and thus suseptible to bacteria?

Sir Stamford.

We arrived at 3am Sat morning, rised and shined at 8 to catch the waves.
That's how a sporty beach holiday is, there is an agenda.

I hired an instructor to teach me proper. You wear a rash guard to avoid nipple rash. Nipples are sensitive areas, handle with care.

I drank SO much salt water, i'll be surprised if my pee isn't salty.
Inspiring toilet. Just spoilt your appetite? Mine is not a food blog.

So, you lie flat in front, paddle out and this gives you awesome abs and defined arms.

Then you align yourself, back facing waves and as they bring you in,
you quickly stand up and balance!

I wasn't very good with it, but can do!

In the evening, we ate by the road side. Its such a small quiet town, there's hardly any choice.
We pop by a quaint bar with a live band (thankfully there is one such place), and saw call girls flirting with old men (surprise, surprise! Such an ulu place also have demand and supply). It's such a small town, that we saw her do the walk of shame the next morning.

Walk of shame: when someone wears the same clothes as the night before.
It's like school camp all over again!!

On the way back, i upgraded to Business Class (sat in a SUV, SO comfy compared to a mini car). Stopping by JB for the usuals, i made it in time for Ku De Ta at Marina Bay Sands for dinner!

and that's how you light and blow a birthday cake on th 57th floor.

Under the sheets.
