The Cage of Death

2 years ago, i swam with the sharks. It was a really liberating activity, to come this close to this menacing creature. So comes to an end of thrill seeking quest. I mean i've bungee jumped, fed the tigers, sky dived, white water rafted...i thought i've done it all....or so i thought until...

my dad sent me this email. The latest tourist attraction in Darwin, Australia. My parents have never quite supported my dangerous activities, but they do know i love such. Besides, they usually only get to know after i've done it. Like feeding the tigers and diving with the sharks. Which i did while holidaying on my own.
I love being single and able with the world and its activities at my disposal. I am very blessed with good fortune like a complete family, a job, an education, health and reasonably wealth.

I've emailed Crocosarus Cove for their price list.
Can't you tell i'm serious?
I'm so excited. I hope the boyfriend's up for it.
Otherwise, i'll still do it. Yes, i'm crazy.

Tokyo Drift

I'm stoked about Japan. I can't wait for this June and i'm grateful my girlfriend is game.
This is what i'm going to be doing:
1) buy Soft on Demand (Japan sells USBs in 4GB and more, complete with porn movies inside with lusty pictures on the casing. $25 for a 4GB USB is cheap right? Provided the USB is USEABLE. and not just porn inside.
2) check into a love hotel.
3) hunt down shops that sells weird shit like "School girl's saliva on sale"
4) buy a second-hand magazine from homeless boys who collect unwanted magazines from bus and train stations to set up their make-shift newspaper stand.
5) eat naked sushi
6) and other boring things like eating sashimi, seeing beautiful scener, shopping fashionably, and visiting Disneyland.

Sibling Rivalry.

We always had an amiable growing up together. My elder brother bought me my first Barbie, then Ken then Barbie's cousin (this little girl which i pretend is Barbie's daughter) then Strawberry Cupcake then Polly Pocket. I wonder why never Cabbage Patch Kids.

Then my younger brother will play with me all of the above, plus he was my pet and my robot.

And i hoax my brothers into paying 50 cents for my home library membership (later increased to $1) but i gave them free goodie bags of tidbits for joining. They never did borrow books because they never liked reading.

Three's not a crowd.

The Obligatory Graduation Picture.

I don't quite understand what is this about a MUST photoshoot with the family whenever there is a graduate from the family. Its like you walk into every home who has one, there you'll see one framed in the living room.
I think it's a Singaporean thing. Because a paper qualification is so important and it's like a show-off of your intellectual ability. It's something where the aunties in the markets will go, "my daughter is a NTU graduate you know...."

Which makes me wonder, if your child is a buay tak chek, and probably went to some overseas uni to 'buy' a degree, will you still be taking such an obligatory picture?
But yes, mine IS an overseas degree (Australia), i wouldn't say i am a scholar, neither did i buy my degree. But i sure am confident to make a mockery out of this graduation thing. Or rather, my elder brother came up with the idea.

My guy friends say i look like my mum and so they know how i'll look like when i'm older. Thankfully, the boys said "Yes, they'll still like to grow old with me". Pardon my mum's bulging tummy. I was too lazy to do any editing, i don't usually do anyway. You see me as it is. Hey, she's got 3 kids and with age, that tummy is pardonable. Besides, my father is a good man who simply doesn't care about the outlook. That includes female hairy armpits. Not saying that my mum has one though.....
See. So proud of the certification like fawning over a newborn baby.
So yes, if you ask me if i'm framing it up for my living room?
I am.

Going to the RA cinema..

Rumour has been going on forever that Yangtze, the remaining cinema that plays soft porn for old men who don't know the Internet, was going to be demolished. I wanted to see it before it disappears. I guess we were disappointed. We didn't see the umbrella totting dirty old men. We didn't see the dirty stained seats. We didn't see much bre****, di*** or pu***. What we did see were, some hand action from the man right in front, and a half naked man suddenly walking into the cinema halfway.

The lobby was so ancient! Some of the younger boys have never ever seen such a cinema before. R asked if we're going to be sitting on wooden benches.

The auntie at the ticket stall actually checked for our IDS!!
6 of us standing in front, deciding which to pick. There's Black Waters (English), Maharot (Philipino), Raped by an Angel (Hong Kong), Lotto Love (Japanese), and Costume Play (Japanese). I think Costume Play sounds the most exciting and erotic, but pity the last show was at 7pm. I once saw a title 'Womb Raider'!!!

So we had to watch Lotto Love. Which is about a husband who is so addicted to gambling that one day his wife decides to starve him off sex so he buys lottery from her instead. In exchange for sexual favors...you go imagine.

I think T kept the tickets as souvenir. It's so old-school! I still remember those old cinema tickets where the seller write your seat number in red crayon!
Everyone's heart stopped for awhile, hoping this uncle won't ask for ID again. I think the boys were feeling kinda sheepish too.
They were damn excited going up the escalator! Like foreplay, unsure of what awaits.

Would have cam-whored much. But i didn't want to look suspicious! Was so afraid someone will come expose us/throw us out of the cinema when we talked and laughed so loud in the cinema. Disturbing the real movie-goers with their hand action.

Sparkler Boys.

Somehow didn't cam whore much this new year. Just didn't feel like it even on reunion dinner night and many other various days. I didn't even wear new clothes, even though i had many. But its his first Chinese new year and he's such a cutie embracing his other half culture. The funniest conversation i had with him was on FB:

He: The lion was here
Me: What lion? The awards?
He: No, the lion.
Me: Huh? What? The animal that roars?
He: the lion, the lion, the LION!!!
Me: What, what, what? There something happening today i need to know? I don't remember.
He: The LION!!! LION! LION!!
Me: ELEPHANT!!

Then i found out, its the lion that's doing the DANCE at his office right now. He's so stoked about the lion spewing salad (as he calls it. Its actually just lettuce) and arranging the oranges. He wants to join the troupe now.

P.S the picture above is mosaic because it is a VERY IMPORTANT SINGAPOREAN's house. I better be safe, don't wanna get into trouble for blogging. But i thought the Plum Blossoms looked nice (ok, actually me.)

I love the sparkler boys!

Took us to the very lovely restaurant that DC brought me. I love DC too! He's the BEST MALE friend ever. No motives, totally gentleman and generous to a friend, moi whom he've seen the best and worst side. Ok, just in case the other best male friend WB gets jealous, he is also my favourite. I have alot of good male friends. I want girlfriends!! But they always have their own agenda, too busy for me coz i'm not a potential mate. Bleh. That's my own deduction. Ha.
Sweet potato that costs $12. There's also the ONE fresh tomato that costs $12. Everything is flown in from Japan daily, thus the exorbitant pricing.
We didn't quite feel the heat while they peng kang our yakitoris.
This is where i'm going to start work next.Reminds me of Perth, kinda. Ok, not quite if you expand this picture further.
New babe in sight. Heh.
